Helen  Vanderburg
Calgary, Alberta


Following her world championship career in athletics, Helen has spent the last twenty years as one of the fitness industry's top innovators and presenters, winning both IDEA's Programmer Director of the Year (1996) and CanFitPro Presenter of the Year (1996). She has also received national recognition by being awarded the Mall Peepre Memorial award for her outstanding contribution to the Canadian fitness industry.

From China and Russia to Israel and across North America, every year Helen not only shares her passion and energy with hundreds of fitness instructors but also her vision and commitment to programming excellence with fitness directors, club managers and owners. Helen has produced 3 fitness videos and is a trainer for numerous fitness organizations and product manufacturers. In addition to presenting, Helen owns and operates Heavens Fitness Club and Fountain Park Health Club in Calgary, is Team Leader for the Canadian NIKE Fitness Team, and fitness columnist for the Calgary Herald. James  Gekko
Toronto, ON


James holds a degree in economics from Queen's University. During his studies there, he discovered his passion for squash and triathlons. James quickly moved up the ranks in each discipline, first becoming Ontario's inter-league squash champion, and later Iron Man Qualifier.

The Fitness Industry was a natural progression for James. Initially as an avid Tri-Athlete, he was looking for a great way to stay in shape during those tough Canadian winter months. Since then, in line with his commitment to the fitness industry, James has been busy embarking on a vigorous pursuit to better his knowledge and to increase his accreditations within the field.

James currently holds certifications in the following programs, Les Mills International (RPM & BP), Multi-Sport Coaching, Resist-A-Ball and as a Fitness Instructor Specialist with Can-Fit-Pro. More recently, he has been certified as a Program Director Group Fitness Management Specialist.

James can be found teaching for Canada's #1 Fitness Club: GoodLife Fitness.



Sandy  Large
Toronto, Ontario


After having been a part-time fitness instructor for many years, Sandy left a senior position in Advertising and Communications to pursue her passion full-time. With a busy schedule of cycling classes she also coaches and prepares instructors for certifications, donates her time and energy to numerous charities and is working on her first whitewater film.

Sandy was named Instructor of the Year 2000 for Sports Clubs of Canada. In addition to 3 indoor cycling certifications, Sandy is also ACE and BTS certified.

Tatiana  Kolovou
Bloomington, IN


Tatiana is the owner of Team Performance, a professional development and consulting company specializing in the fitness management and business industries. She is also a training consultant for Indiana University's Human Resources designing and conducting seminars for professional staff on a wide range of organizational development topics.

As the former Assistant Director of Fitness/Wellness in the Division of Recreational Sports, Indiana University, Tatiana supervised one of the largest university-based group fitness programs in the country. Tatiana's responsibilities included programming for over 100 weekly classes and training for a staff of 40-50 instructors and their diverse needs in group fitness education.

Tatiana has over 16 years of experience in the health and fitness industry as a fitness manager, national presenter and coach. She has conducted workshops and lectures across the United States and internationally in Brazil, Germany, Greece, Canada, Taiwan, Russia, England, Hong Kong, Japan and Spain.



Becky  Langton, M.A.
Milwaukee, WI


Native to Central Wisconsin, Becky has traveled the world educating people on health and fitness for over 15 years. Becky has undergraduate background in health promotion and wellness and a master's in exercise physiology. Becky holds certifications through ACSM, ACE, AFAA, and NSCA. Through her education and background Becky has had the ability to teach in the college setting, work as an exercise physiologist, a fitness center manager, nationally and internationally present at conferences, and work as a consultant for fitness equipment manufacturing companies.

Specific accomplishments have been founding and operating a personal training company called Training Wheels Inc., teaching on staff, and lecturing at Carroll College in Wauwatosa Wisconsin and Meredith College in Raleigh North Carolina. Becky had consulted with PrecorUSA for over 6 years as a fitness trainer, until most recently working with Nautilus Inc. Currently Becky is the Wellness Director for a YMCA in Raleigh North Carolina and works with the Nautilus Institute as a master trainer, presenter and writer.



Sharon  Mehalek
Chicago, IL


Sharon has been employed in the fitness industry for over 18 years. She possesses a certification in Group Exercise Instruction with the American Council on Exercise, and additional certifications in Personal Training, which include The National Academy of Sports Medicine Advanced Certification, The National Strength and Conditioning Association and Pre-Post Natal.

Sharon is the mother of five children and was selected by the internationally known fitness magazine, SHAPE, as a reader model of the year finalist in 1992. In 1996 she became the Midwest Regional Gold Medal winner in the Master Division of the National Aerobic Championship. Additionally she became the Gold Medal winner in the Midwest Regional Division of the Ms. Fitness America contest placing nationally in the top third. Sharon has motivated many prominent figures in the city of Chicago.

Currently the General Manager of the Riverpark Athletic Club, Sharon divides her time between managing the facility and staff in addition to heading up the Group Exercise program, instructing exercise classes and personal training.



Francesca  Kerr
Muncie, IN


A former Fitness Director of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Francesca has over 17 years experience in the health and fitness industry. She holds degrees in both exercise science and health promotion/ wellness management and has applied her knowledge in corporate, commercial and hospital environments.

An indoor cycling master trainer for 7 years, Francesca is ACE, AFAA, NASM and ACSM certified.

John Jay  Wooldridge MBA, BFA
New York City, NY


John is certified by the following organizations: NASM, NSCS, ACSM, ACE and AFAA and is the owner of John Jay's Fitness Productions, a consulting firm based in New York and Boston that focuses on the fitness and health industries. John has created educational programming for Fitness, Group Exercise, Fee programming, Sports Activities for Kids and, most recently, TSI. John has also been involved as a consultant for the Harvard School of Public Health. ACE/IHRSA nominated John as one of the top ten Fitness Managers in the country for 1999, 2000 and 2001.

A long time Reebok Master Trainer for Reebok International, John aided in the development of both Group Exercise and Personal Training RU programming. As a trainer and coach, John has also worked with Olympic teams. He is a member of the Medical Society for the USFSA, Professional Teams.

John has written and consulted on articles for Shape, Fit, Fitness, Men's Health, and Boston Sports Journal. John has been seen on CNN, BBC, NBC, FOX News, WB News, ABC News and NESN as a news consultant.



Christine  D'Ercole
Brooklyn, NY


Christine D'Ercole is a competitive Track Cyclist and Master Trainer for Nautilus Institutes Schwinn Indoor Cycling and Circuit Programs. With a diverse background of 16 years experience in cycling and 13 years in dance, Christine blends her biomechanical awareness and use of breathing techniques to create a competition level cycling class infused with passionate musicality. She is a Faculty Member of SFResources and is very proud to be deeply involved with such praise-worthy and award-winning programs as budokon™ and willPower & grace. Currently Christine is thrilled to be an ambassador for the incredible company Lululemon Athletica!

She is accredited through ACE and AFAA, holds a BFA from Carnegie Mellon University and co-owns the Bicycle Station, a retail and repair shop in Brooklyn NY.



Tracy  D'Arpino
Quincy, MA


Tracy earned her B.S in Exercise Science from Springfield College. Tracy has been working in the fitness industry for 15 years as a personal trainer, group exercise, faculty instructor for TSI, a member of Sunshine Fitness Resources and has worked closely with Wayne Westcott assisting in research at the South Shore YMCA. Tracy is an avid runner and triathle; she had completed 4 marathons and enjoys outdoor sports as part of her fitness training.



Dawn  Murdock
Watertown, MA


As the Area Fitness Program Manager at Harvard University and Harvard Law School, Dawn Murdock is responsible for the recreational programming for the 30,000+ members of the Harvard Community. She also oversees and educates more than 70 instructors and personal trainers at the two facilities.

Dawn has been in the fitness industry for over 10 years, and formerly owned a health club in Northern Michigan. She earned a Bachelor's Degree majoring in Kinesiology and is currently an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer and Aerobics Instructor, and holds many specialty certificates. Dawn is a master trainer for Schwinn® Indoor Cycling Programs and Gliding® and is also an educator for both Sunshine Fitness Resources and SCW Fitness Education.

Rosemary  Chriswisser

With over 18 years of experience in the fitness industry, Rosemary possesses a genuine passion for educating, training and developing individuals. As the Assistant General Manager and Fitness Director at Full Court Fitness, Rosemary continues to initiate, develop and facilitate a variety of fitness programs such as Weight Loss Management, Marathon Training, Triathlon Training and Group Exercise classes, while continuing to provide specialized personal training and consulting sessions for her individual clients.

Additionally, she is a Personal Training Presenter for Fitness Resource Associates and Master Trainer for Schwinn® Cycle. She has earned certifications with NSCA-CPT, ACE, AFAA and other fitness organizations for cycling, exercise ball training, nutrition and pre/postnatal exercise.



Stephanie  Loupe

Stephanie has been a certified group exercise leader and personal trainer for 14 years. She is a Master Trainer for the Schwinn® Indoor Cycling Program and believes that the sport of indoor cycling should remain authentic and true to the outdoor riding experience. Stephanie is also a master trainer for the BOSU Balance Trainer and believes that group exercise provides the relationship necessary for a lifetime of a health and fitness. Jennifer has been a fitness instructor for over 12 years and is a director of Group Fitness for Crunch, Atlanta. She is an instructor trainer for BOSU® and Schwinn® Indoor Cycling. Jennifer has been featured in numerous media fitness segments, including CNN.



Bethany  Diamond
Atlanta, GA


Bethany is a fitness educator and a group and personal fitness trainer. Aside from training for Nautilus, Inc., Bethany is a master trainer for BOSU® and a Master Practical Trainer for ACE. Bethany has published articles in IDEA Today and IDEA Personal Trainer magazines. She serves on the IDEA Water Fitness Committee and has presented at numerous regional, national, and international fitness conventions.



Don  Bahnemhan
Vero Beach, FL


Don Bahneman, MS is certified by the NSCA-CSCS, USAW-Club Coach & IFPA-Certified Personal Trainer. With over 12 years of experience, Don has provided success in many different fitness arenas - athletic training, sports management, professional and amateur athletics, post-rehabilitation, and special populations. Don has presented for IDEA and has been published by the NSCA. Don attended St. Cloud State University and received a degree in Athletic Training and a second in Sports Management. Don also attended graduate school at the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse and studied Human Performance. Mindy is the 1999/2000 International IDEA Instructor of the Year, a National and World Aerobic Champion, a sponsored athlete, and a five star presenter for IDEA. She is an advisory board member for IDEA, an international presenter, author, motivational speaker, video personality, and CEC provider.

Brett has been involved in the fitness industry for more than 18 years. Rob is known worldwide as a respected fitness educator, instructor, and choreographer. Rob holds a B.Sc. degree in Exercise Science, is a Continuing-Education Provider for both ACE and AFAA.

Rob is the Regional Group Fitness Director for Crunch, in Orange County. He is a Trainer and Advisory Board Member for Nautilus, Inc. Shannon  Griffiths

Shannon Griffiths is an international presenter and Master Trainer for several well known companies including Nautilus®, BodyBar, BOSU, Balletone® and ACE. Additionally, Griffiths consults for CorePole™, Urban Rebounding, and Quantum Fitness on educational products and programming through her company, Sunshine Fitness Resources and conducts continuing education workshops all over the world. Skip  Jennings

Skip has a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from New York University and has been teaching dance and aerobics for over 10 years. He is certified through AFAA, ACE, NASM and also holds qualifications in Group X and Personal Training.

Skip was a featured dancer and indoor cyclist in the Mac's Passport AIDES benefit last year and can be seen in an array of aerobic teaching videos, domestic and international.

As a fitness program manager, Fatima was among the first to implement and oversee indoor cycling in Boston. John has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing and Minor in Music Performance from The University of Arizona. He has been teaching Indoor Cycling for over 6 years. He is certified through American Fitness & Aerobics Association, & The American Council on Exercise.

In his role at Bally Total Fitness, John is a member of the original rollout team for the Reaction Cycling Presented by Schwinn® Indoor Cycling Program. In addition to being a Presenter for Bally and a Master Instructor for the Nautilus Institute™, John is on the 10/2 Training Team for the LiveSTRONG Challenge event for the Lance Armstrong Foundation.

Delf  Enriquez
Pasadena, CA


Originally from the Philippines, Delf Enriquez migrated to the United States in 2001 to pursue his passion for sharing the positive benefits of health and fitness to an international audience. As a formerly obese child, Delf transformed his own life through professional involvements in fitness. In his college years, he became a local champion in aerobics marathons; a silver medalist in a National Powerlifting Competition, and a finalist in a National Bodybuilding Competition, all while finishing a bachelors degree in Management Engineering in his home country's most prestigious private university.

Today, Delf combines his management education and fitness passion through his role as Personal Training Manager and EFTI Master Trainer at Equinox Fitness Clubs in Pasadena, where he has managed trainers, taught classes, and trained clients for the last 3 years. Delf is currently certified as ACSM-HFI and NSCA-CPT, and his goal is to launch projects and programs that will make a global impact on health and fitness.



Amy  Dixon
Santa Monica, CA


The official spokesperson for Women's Health magazine and the Group Fitness Manager for Equinox in Santa Monica, CA, Amy has over 15 years of fitness and exercise experience. Along with AFAA certification, Amy holds a BS in Exercise Physiology/Lifestyle Management from Weber State University, and has been affiliated with Schwinn Indoor Cycling, Stairmaster Treadmill, GRAVITY and BOSU. Among her successes, Amy was the writer and former director of a wellness program established for the national organization "Senior Friends."
